Training Stubborn Dogs With A Remote Trainer

If your cute puppy grew to become a big animal that refuses to follow your orders, barks and growls at your guests, and makes constant noise at night and prevents you from sleeping, then you should consider getting a remote trainer. A humane breakthrough in dog training, a remote trainer is a package deal where you get a remote dog training collar and an owners device, which is the control unit. In this way, there's no need to be right next to the dog at all times to control it.

Make sure that you take off the dog's regular collar before making it wear the remote trainer collar, in order to avoid both malfunctions and accidents. The remote collar includes a small gadget with two outlets that must be in contact with your dog's neck, right next to its throat. On very long-haired breeds you may need to trim the hair to achieve this.

The remote that is included with the collar will let you give mild static shock corrections to your dog while in training.

    How To Begin Training

Training with the remote trainer is very similar to any type of regular training. For instance, if you teach your dog with sit with the word "sit," you might want to use the collar to give a correction when the dog doesn't obey to the word.

Once your dog has gotten the hang of the excercise, then it's time to try the collar and the remote but without the leash. Should the dog choose to disobey, you can increase the level of static while repeating the command until he obeys.

Remote trainers can also be used for proximity training when you need to ensure that your dog isn’t straying too far from you, and can be a vital aid in ensuring that he reliably returns when called. With time, you can forget about the leash completely when you take your dog out for a walk.

If your dog is not obeying your commands, it's time to get a remote trainer. This collar and remote control will let you train the most unruly dog. Perhaps the most important feature of the remote trainer is it's range of level corrections, which you can adapt to your dog's temperament.
